General description

12-person Ski-in, ski-out chalet has a convenient location at a 1640 metres altitude in the charming village of Champoussin. When the snow conditions allow it you can ski from the chalet to the slope (ca. 150 metres) that ends at the Champeys drag lift. Take this lift to reach the Aiguille des Champeys chair lift that will take you further into the ski area. At the end of your ski day you can ski back until the very front door of the chalet. The Les Portes du Soleil ski area has a whopping 650 km of slopes for you to explore!

Champoussin itself is a small village with some facilities. There is a ski school at about 800 metres for the chalet, as well as a restaurant/bar, small grocerie store, sports shop, the tourist office and a ski bus stop. This free ski bus will take you to nearby villages such as Les Crosets (ca. 6.5 km) and Val d’Illiez (ca. 7 km). For more amenities, like a supermarket (Coop) you can visit Monthey (ca. 16 km) and Champéry (ca. 11 km) has a supermarket as well but also several enjoyable restaurants and bars.

The comfortable ski-in, ski-out chalet is a great house to come home to after an active day in the snow! The chalet has a cozy living room with a wood stove and at the balconies and terrace which are based South you can enjoy the winter sun and the beautiful view over the Dents-du-Midi. Facilities such as a Wi-Fi internet connection and laundry room are available in the chalet as well. Skis can be put next to the outside door under the overhang. There are parking spots for two cars just outside the chalet.

The chalet is divided over four floors.

On the first floor there is a laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, one bedroom with two single beds (100 x 210 cm, can be put together) and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. This floor can only be reached from the outside.

On the second floor the entrance of the chalet is found which has a storage for your ski shoes. On this floor you can also find the living room with a cosy sitting corner with TV, DVD-player and wood stove and a dining area with a beautiful view over the Dents-du-Midi. The luxurious open kitchen is equipped with e.g. five hotplates, a big fridge with freezer compartment, steam oven and microwave with grill. Moreover, the chalet has a scullery with a dishwasher, filter coffee machine, Senseo coffee machine, electric kettle, toaster and bread baking machine. From the living room you have acces to the furnished terrace that is facing South and the garden. This floor also has a shower and toilet.

There are four bedrooms on the third floor. One bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm). One spacious bedroom with two single beds (100 x 200 cm, can be put together) and a balcony. One 4-person bedroom with four bunk beds (100 x 200 cm) and a balcony. The fourth bedroom is small and has two single beds (100 x 200 cm). On this floor you can also find a bathroom with a bath, shower and toilet.

The two garages at the ground floor are for private use.
