Morillon is a traditional village and a ski resort which part of the large and varied Grand Massif ski area and its 265km of pistes. The domain consists of Les Carroz, Samoëns, Morillon, Sixt Fer à Cheval and Flaine. With a top station of 2500 metres, on mostly north-facing slopes, this is one of the Haute-Savoie’s most snow-sure ski resorts. From the chalet, it is only two minutes drive to the Morillon cable car and 8 minutes drive to the pretty medieval village of Samoens. Geneva airport is just 50 minutes away. The Giffre valley is just as popular in the summer with numerous activities and festivals all year long.
